Art Craft Plates

Early January 2009, I purchased the plates used to create the FDCs for the three Art Craft cachets designed for "The World United Against Malaria Campaign". Right below are scans of the finished product and below those are scans of the three plates. The first two: "The Big Six Of Malaria" and "Dr. Emilio Pampana" were created for the United Nations Scott 102-103 and the Kennedy cachet was created for the United States Scott 1194. The cachets were eventually used for many countries and I created an exhibit for the "The Big Six Of Malaria" cachet which includes almost all of the known FDCs.

The plates are just over 4 inches by 8 inches. I am not sure what else to say about them except they are unique and quite beautiful.
