In 1962, the World Health Organization created a meter cancel for the W.H.O. Regional Office - Americas (Washington D.C, USA). There were FDCs produced with the meter and dated 1962/04/07. This was the proposed issue day for "The World United Against Malaria Campaign" stamps and meters. April 7th was on a Saturday and although the FDCs were cancelled on that day the W.H.O. Regional Office was not open. The first day of real usage for the meter was Monday, April 9th and below are 2 'First Day of Use' Covers:
